The Barn - HO Scale

The Barn is an HO scale building measuring 30x28 feet or ~99x112x95mm. This is an updated version of a the Barn model previously posted.  Pegs and alignment holes have been incorporated into the trim and barn for  easier assembly.  This model is simple to print and easy to assemble with some light glue. The assembly is straight forward however consider the recommended assembly instructions before printing.

BambuLab PLA filament : Matte White, Silver Silk, Matte Latte Brown, Basic Green. Support PLA.

Build Plate:  Smooth PEI or Cold plate - use glue for exterior walls.  Warping of the exterior walls will lead to various fitment issues of trim, windows, and floor, consider using glue no matter the build plate.  

Recommended Assembly

1. Before attaching exterior trim please test fit barn doors on sliding dovetail trim.  
2. Glue the exterior trim to the main building first:
   1. First attach the v-shaped pieces
   2. Followed by the back trim
   3. and finally the front trim which supports the main doors.
3.  Windows are snug! Push firmly and evenly, supporting the wall from both sides. The top of the window frame may have some curvature during printing and may require a little cleanup. If you find the windows are tight you can shrink them by heating them.
4. Small barn door pushes on from the bottom of the walls.
5. Main barn doors slide onto the front trim using the dovetails, install from the right side.
