Description
Inspired by The Odyssey, the famous epic poem attributed to Homer, this panel represents some of the most emblematic moments of Ulysses' (Odysseus') journey back to Ithaca after the Trojan War.
The composition brings together iconic elements of the story, such as Poseidon, the Sirens, the monster Scylla, the whirlpool of Charybdis, Odysseus' ship, and the temple symbolizing his longed-for return home. Every detail seeks to convey the grandeur of one of the most influential works of universal literature.
During his journey, Ulysses must overcome countless challenges and dangers. Thanks to his courage, intelligence, and perseverance, he manages to conquer the obstacles that the gods and fate place in his path until he finally returns to Ithaca.
The model includes a standalone support, allowing the panel to be displayed on a table, shelf, or desk without the need for hanging.
