I made a riser block for my mitre saw to prevent long objects like baseboards from falling down after the cut or tilting and ruining the cut surface. Normally these types of saws have extendable side tables but mine (Bosch PCM 8) doesn't and even with them a 2,40 m long baseboard will fall down anyway.

The model is 70 mm tall and matches the height of the saws top surface exactly. If your saw is slightly higher or lower simply adjust the z-value in your slicer (or remix the model).

I printed my blocks (two for each side) in PLA with standard settings, no need to go crazy. I included mounting holes in the design so you can screw the blocks down to stop them from sliding around. I found this very useful for my makeshift workbench on the job site and will do this in my workshop too.

If you like this model please post a Make and let me know if the design needs any adjustments. Happy Printing :)
