Tip: see photos of the switch I use, brown mx style.Â
đ Print Settings & Recommendations
This model is designed to print easily with zero supports. To truly capture the rock and gem aesthetic, we highly recommend using textured filaments!
- Filament Suggestions: Â PLA Marble, PLA Galaxy, Multi-Color Silk PLA, Gold, Bronze, Silver etc Filament used in the printed models shown is Polymaker Panchroma Starlight Comet PLA, Gold PETG, Bambu Lab Bronze PLA
- Layer Height: 0.20mm (Lower layer heights (0.12, 0.08 will make the facets look incredibly sharp, but add to the print time). Â Gold colored model was printed at 0.12mm so it looks a bit more detailed, it also added about 30 minutes to the print time.Â
- Infill: 15%
- Supports: None required! Just slice and print.
𧊠Assembly Instructions
- Pop your favorite keyboard switch into the top housing (it should snap firmly into place, add a drop of super glue for a more permanent fit).
- Align the bottom cover and press fit (or glue, depending on your tolerances) to secure it.Â
- Adding a bit of glue or super glue to both pieces is highly recommended if using as a keychain.Â
