Apache 550 Badge

This is a name badge for the Apache 550 waterproof case from Harbor Freight.

The picture of this model is printed in ABS because that's all I had on hand at the time, I included an optimized profile for printing in PETG.

HOW TO GET FLUSH LETTERING ON THIS BADGE:

1. Set depth of lettering to whatever your layer line value is (.2, .16, etc)
2. Lay the text on face, then mirror the text.
3. Change the view of the build plate where you are looking up at the model from underneath the build plate. 
4. Place the text into position from the bottom of the model, it can be hard to see and line up.
5. Once text is in place, select all objects on the bed and Merge. 
6. Enjoy having flush text!

Feel free to tweak settings for printing using different materials, It's a pretty straightforward print.
