Description

This is a cable tie mount designed for secure cable management on machinery, robotic cells, automation equipment, and custom industrial projects. The mount features a side hole designed to be tapped with an M5 × 0.8 thread after printing, allowing it to be securely fastened to a frame, panel, or bracket. The integrated cable tie channel allows standard zip ties to be routed through the part and tightened around cables, hoses, tubing, or wire bundles.

Instead of relying on adhesive-backed cable mounts that can loosen over time, this part provides a durable mechanical mounting solution that can withstand vibration and demanding industrial environments.

Printing Guidelines

  • Supports: not required
  • Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS recommended for durability and heat resistance (PLA suitable for light-duty indoor applications)
  • Infill: 40%+ recommended for strength
  • 3 perimeters minimum for improved thread durability and mounting strength
  • Tap the mounting hole using an M5 × 0.8 tap after printing

  • Designed to accept a standard cable tie through the integrated retention slot.
  • Mounting hole is intentionally undersized and designed for post-print tapping with an M5 × 0.8 tap.
  • Suitable for securing cable bundles, pneumatic tubing, sensor wiring, and other routed services.
