A two part drip tray: a solid basin catches the water, a removable pattern grid sits on top. Pick your size, shape and one of 13 drainage patterns, from Japanese kumiko to organic voronoi.

Description

A drip tray with a reservoir. Soap, sponges, dishes or plants sit on the pattern grid, water drips through and collects in the sealed basin below. No wet countertop, no puddle under the soap. Lift the grid by its handles through the lowered rim, pour the water out, done.

Everything is parametric. Type your width and depth, choose rectangular or stadium (rounded ends) shape, then pick one of 13 drainage patterns: diamond, honeycomb, kumiko (asanoha), seigaiha, shippo, sakura, cane webbing, moroccan star, chevron, truchet, breeze block, wave, and an organic voronoi with a reroll seed for a unique layout every time.

Some patterns needs larger cell pitch and wall size

How it works

  • The basin is a solid tub with support pegs inside. The grid rests on the pegs, water collects underneath.
  • The rim is lowered on each side with smooth curves, so the grid handles stay reachable.
  • The grid follows the basin cavity exactly: same corner radius, tuned clearance, it drops in and lifts out.

What you can customize

  • Width, depth, basin height, shape (rect or stadium), corner radius
  • 13 drainage patterns, cell size, wall thickness, voronoi seed
  • Support pegs: count in X and Y, diameter. Pegs fuse with the walls, middle pegs get solid landing caps on the grid
  • Lowered rim: width and curve of each side opening
  • 45 degree chamfers on the base and the top rim, each on or off
  • Recessed marks under the base for stick on silicone feet (9 mm by default)
  • Engraved text under the base: initials, a name, anything

Use it for

Soap dish (stadium shape), sponge holder, dish drainer, plant pot saucer, toothbrush tray, razor stand, pet bowl mat, paint water station.

Assembly: print the basin and the grid separately, drop the grid in. To empty, lift the grid by the handles and pour.
