Description
MTG Deck Box - Geometric Design
In collaboration with the user Buwurmy i designed a sleek and modern deck box for Magic: The Gathering (MTG) featuring a geometric pattern and a slide-in lid. It is sturdy, functional, and optimized for an easy print with zero hassle.
Key Features:
- Support-Free: The model is designed to print flawlessly without any supports, saving you time and material.
- Capacity: With interior dimensions of 68 mm x 75 mm, it roughly fits:
- 200+ unsleeved cards.
- 133 single-sleeved cards.
- 105 double-sleeved cards.
- Secure Closure: The sliding lid fits snugly to keep your deck well-protected.
Print Recommendations:
- Box Body: Can be printed at standard layer heights (0.20 mm or 0.24 mm) for a faster print.
- Lid (Important): It is highly recommended to print the lid at a 0.12 mm layer height. This ensures that the fine details of the logo and text pop out perfectly.
- Settings: No special settings required. A standard 15% infill (Grid or Gyroid) works perfectly.
Print Profiles & Color Options
The print profile includes different versions for the lid to suit your setup:
- Single Color: A simple, clean version for those who prefer a minimalist look or want to paint the logo later.
- Two Colors (AMS/Bambu Lab): Optimized for multi-material systems (AMS). The logo is pre-painted in the slicer for a seamless automatic color swap.
- Two Colors (No AMS - Manual Swap): This version includes a pre-defined pause at the specific layer height where the logo begins. This allows you to manually change the filament and achieve the dual-color effect without needing an AMS.
