Growing Sprouts for Beginners

I recently started growing sprouts. I use old jam jars for this.
The jars have a TO82 lid and a diameter of approx. 80mm.
TO82 = Twist-Off lid with a size of 82mm.

For the sieve in the lid, I set the infill density of the component so that openings of approx. 2x2mm are created.
Top and bottom layers are turned off.
Works surprisingly well when working with multi-part components.
The size of the holes can be varied by the percentage of infill density (see image with slicer screenshot)

With the chosen size, easy filling and emptying is possible, even with the lid closed.
With smaller holes, this is no longer as easy.

The holder positions the jar at 45° and also serves as a drip tray.
It's a bit minimalistic, but it works.

The current version is printed with PLA, as PETG was currently out of stock.
I recommend printing with PETG for better temperature resistance.

Maybe someone else has the urge to experiment with sprouts.

Have fun with it.
