Description
A complete Magic: The Gathering loadout system. Built for play, not just storage.
The Command Post transforms a Harbor Freight parts organizer into a fully integrated deck-carrying system with purpose-built inserts for decks, playmats, tokens, and accessories. The deckboxes are designed to function both inside the case and on its own, so you’re never locked into one way of playing or transporting your gear.
*UPDATES*
A new version has been added with new token boxes that are designed to go in the two front pockets. They include dividers to make it easy to keep your tokens organized. I noticed with the original token/dice boxes that it was difficult to grab my deck boxes as everything was so tight. These are just a bit smaller, and makes it a lot easier to grab your decks.
What Makes This Different
Most insert systems stop at organization.
The Command Post is built for real use at the table.
Every deck box in this system is:
- Fully secure outside the case
- Travel-ready on its own
- Engineered to stay closed - even when handled by the lid or thrown into a backpack
Each box uses:
- 3 precision-fit tabs
- 3 pairs of strong magnets
- Triangular locking geometry for maximum hold
The result?
You can lift a loaded deck box by the lid and it stays shut.
Commander Deck Boxes (100 Cards)
Designed for actual Commander play not just storage.
- Holds a double-sleeved 100-card deck
- Dedicated commander slot for a mini snap case
- Magnetic + engineered closure system (no spills, no pop-offs)
- Clean, compact footprint.
This isn’t just a container, it's keeping your deck secure either in the parts box or just thrown into a backpack.
60-Card Format Deck Boxes
Built for flexibility across formats like Standard, Modern, and Pioneer.
Each box includes:
- Main deck compartment (fits double-sleeved 60-card deck)
- Sideboard slot
- Token slot
Everything you need for a match kept organized in one place.

The Command Post gives you both.

Print and Part Details
The link to the organizer itself is at the top of the post. The boxes use 20mm x 5mm x 2mm magnets. The magnets on Amazon are never quite true to size and are usually about 10% smaller than they're supposed to be, so I always secure them with a strong adhesive like Loctite.
The deck boxes intentionally have their bodies split in the print profile so that you can easily recolor them, this makes it easy to differentiate the boxes in your box at a glance.
The width of the dice boxes and token boxes are slightly more narrow than the deck boxes. I recommend putting one of these in the row with your deck boxes. This gives everything a little bit of room to shift in the parts box, making it easier to grab the deckboxes individually and lift out.
The deckboxes are really secure. I've been taking these to FNM for the last couple of months while I worked on and updated the design. Most of the time I just throw them in my backpack and I have yet to have a lid fall off.
