I have modified my latest design for the ESPectrum +2A Case. It now features a new DIY button panel. It uses Cherry push buttons mounted on a "button-panel" with 3D printed keys, screen-printed on the same layer, and with the layout of a true ZX Spectrum +2... I also added a button for the mechanical reset
This project uses the ESPectrum emulator, programmed by Víctor Iborra, flashed on a Lilygo FabGL VGA32, and the POWADCR digital player, programmed by Antonio Tamairón
The MCP23017 I2C Expansion Module , the 3.5” TFT HMI LCD, the ESP32-Audio-Kit and the button panel are located in their corresponding spaces and secured with M2 inserts and their respective screws
Due to the size of the case, I have divided the design into several pieces. These must be joined together (top and bottom) making sure they fit and are correctly aligned with each other, removing any support residue used in their printing. These pieces can be glued with cyanoacrylate and fastened with small M2 screws with their corresponding nuts. The top and bottom parts are secured with M3x15 metric screws
On the left side, it has three cavities, two for adding an ESPjoy or similar and one for mounting a reset button. On the lower right rear side, there is a small space dedicated to housing a speaker that is inserted laterally. On the right side, there is a cavity that provides an exit for a microSD extender ...
This case accommodates a keyboard* used with 7” tablets. For its use, a USB to PS/2 keyboard/mouse interface converter using a Raspberry Pi Pico (project ps2x2pico) is necessary. The keyboard rests on a tray which will in turn be screwed to the top of the case... for its fastening, although not strictly necessary, I have used small M2 screw inserts

And I have nothing more to add
