Description

A chunky, comfortable bottle opener designed around a standard 40mm round metal insert. Great as a gift, a shop project, or just something fun to print and use.

The design features a finger loop at one end for a secure grip and a recessed pocket at the other end that accepts a standard 40mm round bottle opener insert, secured with two screws. The body is sized to give you real leverage when popping caps.

Hardware Required: Round bottle opener insert (40mm) with screws — such as this set on Amazon. The inserts come in silver, bronze, and black finishes.

Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG
  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Wall loops: 4
  • Top shell layers: 6
  • Infill: 20% Honeycomb
  • Outer wall speed: 150 mm/s
  • Inner wall speed: 250 mm/s

Assembly:

  1. Press the metal insert into the recessed pocket
  2. Drill small pilot holes if needed
  3. Drive the two included screws to secure

PETG is a great choice for this — it's more durable and impact-resistant than PLA, which is ideal for something that takes the leverage of opening bottles repeatedly. Makes a great gift for homebrewers, beer lovers, or anyone who appreciates handmade things!
