Designated Unit 774-Theta, this soldier is a veteran of the 158th Siege Regiment of the Death Korps of Krieg. During the prolonged Siege of Vraks, the shifting tides of battle often led to the discovery of ancient, pre-Imperial weapon caches.

One such cache contained specialized, drum-fed submachine guns—relics of a bygone era. Recognizing their superior stopping power in the claustrophobic confines of trench-clearing operations, the Quartermasters of Krieg sanctioned their use. While the "Lasgun" remains the standard, Theta’s squad became a specialized shock unit, using these high-rate-of-fire weapons to "mow the grass" (as the soldiers call it) during the first wave of a frontal assault. Cold, calculated, and utterly indifferent to his own survival, Theta advances through the mud of No Man's Land, the rhythmic thumping of his ancient SMG echoing the relentless heartbeat of Krieg.
