Found yourself with a broken release button on your PC4-M6 PTFE connector? Before you toss it away, here is the 3D-printed fix! I designed this replacement button specifically to repair damaged pneumatic fittings without needing to replace the whole part.

💡 Printing Tips

  • Recommended Material: Use PA (Nylon) only. Its superior layer adhesion and mechanical toughness make it the best choice for this functional part.
  • ⚠️ Warning: Avoid using PLA, PETG, or ASA. I have already tested them, and they tend to snap easily due to the mechanical stress. Nylon is the way to go for a long-lasting repair.

🛠 Assembly Note

If the PTFE tube doesn't slide through the hole easily due to filament tolerances:

  1. Hold the button firmly with a pair of pliers (do not hold it with your bare hands to avoid injury!).
  2. Gently clear/enlarge the hole using a 4mm drill bit—a tool every maker surely has close by! :D

I hope this helps you save some hardware!

  • For a successful print it is mandatory to use the Bambulab glue stick on the build plate.

  •  If you have printed my model, please leave a comment with a photo and feedback, Boosts are highly appreciated if this model worked well for you, thank you very much!

  • If you encountered printing issues, report them to me immediately so I can correct any errors.
