Welcome to the world of 3D Lithophane! This project was created to allow you to transform your memories into light in a simple, economical, and fully customizable way
❓ What is the Lithophane Box?
It is a special 3D printed lamp that uses the lithophane technique (images that appear only when backlit). Its main feature is that it is **completely assembleable and disassemblable**: this means you can change the internal photo whenever you want, without having to print a new box!
❓ How many parts does the kit consist of?
The project is made up of 5 essential components:
- The Outer Shell (2 pieces): The main components of the box
- The Button: An internal insert for proper functionality
- The LED Light: A 10cm tube light (purchased externally)
- The Lithophane: The heart of the project, your favorite photo transformed into 3D
❓ How can I create my Lithophane?
You can do it 100% safely and for free via the website created specifically for this project: 👉 Lithophane Generator
Print Dimensions: When generating the STL file, make sure the final dimensions are exactly: Width: 65.5 mm Height: 100 mm
What can you create? Within the same site, you have the option to generate not only classic black and white lithophanes, but also incredible color lithophanes for an even more realistic effect!

❓ How do I get the right proportions?

❓ Which light should I buy?
To illuminate your box, you need a 10cm tube light. You can easily find it on platforms like Temu, AliExpress, or Shein. 👉 Light Example on Temu Note: Make sure it is exactly the 10cm model to ensure compatibility with the internal housing.
