Description
How many times have you smelled unpleasant odors in garages, basements, or cellars of your house?
This could be caused by the incorrect installation of some drains that allow bad odors to rise to the surface…
With this project, I will definitively solve the problem for you!
Designed to be walkable, it allows liquids (rainwater, melted snow, dirty water from floor cleaning…) to still drain into the sump to be expelled, but by creating a sort of siphon, it prevents bad odors from rising.
It's composed of 2 pieces, quick to print, with very few supports.
I recommend keeping the settings in the file and printing it with a material that can withstand time.
For example, I printed them in ABS
The dimensions are 54 mm internal diameter, 74 mm diameter for the flush-floor resting part, and 60 mm drain depth.
You can modify the dimensions directly from the slicer, but if you need support or any specific modifications, don't hesitate to ask…
