Whispess is rarely seen, but always heard. Travelers report faint murmurs drifting through the trees — ancient incantations, broken voices, and whispers that do not belong to any living creature. Those who hear her voice are said to be already too close.
Her twisted body looks as if two beings were fused into one. Some believe she devoured her own sister to steal her power. Others claim she is the result of a ritual gone horribly wrong. The Whispering Hag feeds on fear and secrets; the more terrified her prey becomes, the stronger she grows.
Monster hunters warn of one rule: never answer her voice, for once you speak back, she will never let you go.
