Name: Ankylosaurus magniventris
Era: Late Cretaceous (about 68–66 million years ago)
Home: Western North America — especially Montana and Alberta
Group: Ankylosaurids — heavily armored plant-eating dinosaurs

Ankylosaurus was basically a walking tank of the dinosaur world. Covered head-to-tail in thick armor and armed with a powerful tail club, this peaceful herbivore was one of the best-defended dinosaurs to ever roam the Earth.

Body: Low, wide, and extremely solid — built like a prehistoric bulldozer
Armor: Thick bony plates (osteoderms) covering its back and sides
Tail: A massive bone club at the end, used as a powerful defensive weapon
Head: Short, wide skull with a beak-like mouth
Legs: Short and sturdy, perfect for supporting its heavy armor
Skin: Likely rough and pebbly, blending into its environment

Temperament (playfully speaking):
Ankylosaurus is the “quiet but unmovable” dinosaur — calm, stubborn, and absolutely not interested in being eaten. It didn’t chase predators… it simply waited for them to regret their choices.

Diet: Herbivore — fed on low-growing plants like ferns, shrubs, and cycads
Activity: Slow-moving but always alert
Movement: Steady and deliberate, with a very low center of gravity
