⚙️ Behind the Mechanics – Evolved Jumping Technology
After earlier designs like jumping spiders, frogs, grasshoppers, and even cockroaches, the jumping system has now been refined even further. This time, the focus was not only on maximum jump distance but on stability, durability, and smooth compressibility.
Support structures have been expanded to provide more reliability — yet they still peel off as effortlessly as butter. The feet are now included in the supports to help avoid bed adhesion issues for some printers.
The magic of the LadyBug lies in its full back shell, which now acts as a kinetic energy reservoir. This makes the model extremely sturdy while still providing excellent jumping performance. The result:
