Description

Covertec wheels are a type of belt connection used with lightsabers as an alternative to D-rings. Covertec was actually a company that made these wheels for electronics. Starting in Star Wars the Phantom Menace, these types of clips were used as a sleeker and sturdier substitute for the original D-rings.

No ideal covertec wheel design existed for my hilts. I made these to be glueless while still being robust enough to reliable carry heavy, moving loads. The goal was to make it a staple for all future designs.

Instructions:

Filament: PLA

Layer Height: 0.2 mm

Infill: 15%

Supports: N/A

  1. There is an interface covering the hole on Covertec_Wheel1 that will need to be poked out. Its purpose is to remove supports.
  2. Push Covertec_Screw through the holes of Covertec_Wheel1 and 2.
  3. Insert into Covertec_Base
