Description
When discussing how the 'monkey' should be presented, we ultimately chose Taiwan's only native primate—Formosan rock macaque (Macaca cyclopis).
They are active from low-altitude hills to high-mountain forests, and are the most agile and intelligent figures in the mountains.
When conceptualizing the model, we aimed to retain their soft grayish-brown fur and lively expressions, which led to the creation of this Q-version 3D figurine, allowing the Formosan rock macaque's cleverness and amiability to be appreciated by more people.
The background design references a 'mountain forest inhabited by a monkey troop,' with soft-focused greenery and a hint of humid air, as if quietly observing our world.
This is not just a part of the 'monkey' zodiac, but also a story of Taiwan's mountain forests.
