Description
The Mercury-class Battlestar is a powerful capital warship used by the Colonial Fleet in the Battlestar Galactica universe. Designed as a successor to the older Galactica-type vessels, it combines advanced technology, heavy armor, and formidable firepower. The ship features multiple flight pods capable of launching and recovering Viper fighters, extensive point-defense systems, and advanced command and control facilities. The most famous example of this class is the Battlestar Pegasus, known for its strength, speed, and role in the post-Cylon War fleet operations.
