Description
G.E.M.'s lithophane was not made with makerlab's lithophane generator, but was done with Python.
It is recommended to print with a 0.2mm nozzle.
Technical approach:
1. Convert any image to a grayscale image
2. Map the grayscale value of each pixel to the Z-axis height
3. Generate an STL model based on the Z-axis height corresponding to each pixel
4. Add filtering for modification to make the lithophane smooth
All the above operations are completed by a Python program.
(Actually, I only found out that makerlab provides a lithophane generation tool after I made it myself with Python...)
