Description
This inlet nozzle is a specially developed 3D printed component that fits the Summer Fun inlet nozzle.
Standard inlet nozzles usually direct water straight into the pool, which can lead to suboptimal flow in round pools.
The nozzle presented here is conically shaped and changes the inlet angle of the water jet, creating better circulation in the pool. This results in:
• improved water movement and mixing
• more efficient transport of dirt particles towards the skimmer
• reduced dead zones in the pool
The component was manufactured using the FDM 3D printing process and can be adapted to different angles or flow rates as needed. Material selection and wall thickness can be adjusted depending on the intended use (e.g., PETG for better UV and chlorine resistance).
