Description

Boost Me (for free)

If this helps you, think about giving me a boost, it really motivates me to design and create more cool stuff

This is a freehand guard for the router table with integrated dust collection. It was based on the idea of the woodpeckers freehand guard. There is a template that you can use to make the acryllic the exact right size and drill the holes in the correct places. This build requires 3 m3 bolts (I used button head bolts with washers).

For dust collection, I created two options, 1 for the camvac system and 1 for regular shop vac connection). the dust collection port is to be glued in.

I designed this with my Kreg router table insert plate in mind, but I think it can be useful for other plates as well. The guard is held in place with an M6 bolt in the threaded hole for the starter pin. (I printed a knob for it that I liked).

My router table insert plate is the Kreg PRS4034.
