Caliper extension
Print Profile(1)

Description
An attachment for extending a standard caliper, allowing for the measurement of larger radii, for example. The attachments simply slide on and hold quite firmly by themselves. For additional security, they can also be clamped in place with a M3 screw. In a worst-case scenario, the caliper may show a deviation of ±0.2 mm if pressed too hard. When tightening the screw, care should be taken not to overtighten it, as the pressure could cause the layers to break.
(To minimize the risk of breakage during tightening, it’s recommended not to use countersunk screws.)
