Easily automate your AC vents with this DIY setup at an affordable price.
Instructions
Follow the attached guide
Materials I used:
- AC Floor registers: Amazon - 8 Pack for $40
- ESP8266 D1 Mini V4 Type C: Amazon - 10 Pack for $27
- Micro Servo 9g: Amazon - 10 Pack for $19 (Need included hardware)
- Phillips Flat Countersunk Head Self-tapping Wood Screw Mix: AliExpress - 1000pc kit for $5. Only need the following two types for one vent:
- 2m x 6mm — 3
1 - 1.4mm x 4mm — 1
FOR BEST RESULTS, USE THE STANDARD PRINT PROFILE.
Print Settings
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm
- Material: PLA
- Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm
- Supports: No
- Rafts: No
- Brim: No
