Description

This flexible sheet of interlocked links is designed with a dovetail connection at each edge link so that multiple sheets can be connected together to make one big flexible sheet. The tolerance is purposefully tight at these connections to keep them linked when playing with the sheet. As such, it may take a bit of force to connect them. If you are careful and take proper safety precautions you can use a hammer to gently tap the pieces together once you line them up.

As with any large sheet of links, make sure your bed is leveled with any needed adhesives spread across the entire build plate. Personally, I like the SuperTack build plate because it sticks well and leaves a pleasant feeling surface on the bottom.

I number the sheets based on the number of connections on each side. 12, 6, 4, 3, 2, and 1 (the multiples of 12). You can mix and match different color prints to get patterns and pictures and it will still be a flexible sheet.

The reason I call it Flexel is because each piece is like a pixel, so a flexible pixel.
