Ahoy makers! Here’s my latest project: a galleon cannon, completely designed to be 3D printed without extra hardware. Every part – from the spring to the cannonball – is printable on a standard FDM printer. Key features: Fully 3D printed spring mechanism 🌀 Removable internal supports for easier printing Snap-fit + glue joints for sturdy assembly Cannonball split in two halves with a connecting joint ⚫ I’ve also prepared a step-by-step assembly guide so anyone can get it working smoothly. ⚔️ My idea is to expand this into a full battleship arcade style set (cannons, ship deck elements, maybe even targets).
