The Cennina case occurred on November 1, 1954, during Italy’s UFO wave. Rosa Lotti Dainelli, a barefoot peasant woman heading to mass, encountered a shiny double-cone craft in the woods and two small humanoid beings in gray suits and red helmets. The entities behaved amicably, took flowers and a stocking, and possibly photographed her. Physical traces were found. The case is noted for its credibility and for reflecting the pre-1960s diversity of “alien” forms.

This mysterious being comes from a little-known UFO case, absent from the internet and shrouded in secrecy. Often confused with the alleged 1933 “Italian Roswell,” which I consider highly dubious, the more intriguing event occurred in 1932 in a small village in Piedmont. A farmer reported a flying saucer, leading to a secret investigation. An investigator later described a disturbing but non-hostile alien figure. From his only surviving sketch, I created a 3D image.
