Hey Everyone,
Just figured I'd ask... So I am 115 follows away from being able to open up my Minecraft Style Switch Covers for Commercial License Membership and I have been getting asked for others to sell these. I currently sell the Minecraft covers on TikTok and if I allow others to sell them now that would basically eliminate me (and my hobby fund to buy more filament and pay for my Solidworks license) ... I just don't have the time to maintain a shop. Anyways, I would certainly appreciate the follows and I know those who want to sell these would too.
Check out the switches and the users pictures if you have any doubts as to the quality of models and print profiles I make:

A Journey of Feedback Incorporation
Incorporating feedback is one of the most challenging things as an engineer. You designed it! It's yours! You made it exactly the way you intended, and no one else is right!... It's a common thought we all have, because when we create something, we hold it close like a child. Well, sometimes you just have to admit that you're not going to think of everything. I have FINALLY had the time with my Pokeball development to incorporate feedback from my Minecraft levers... and now I have added that feedback to the levers also! No more levers falling off because your light switch toggle isn't close enough to mine that it is held snuggly! It's always a learning experience designing things and doing this for fun has given me the ability to not hold designs so close to the chest. Allow other feedback! It will make the design better for everyone! If anyone thinks of other feedback to my designs; I invite you to just tell me like it is. This sucks man… is not feedback. Tell me WHY it sucks!! I can't fix it if I am clueless to your problem. Lets all do this in the community. Being toxic because you don't like something doesn't help anyone. Explain your thoughts so that we can all benefit!

Wow. Over 50 hrs of design time went into this Poke Ball Toggle Cover. The big challenge was reducing print time. When I first started it took 9 hours to print. It was ugly and kept falling off the various toggles I have now purchased so that I know it will fit most people's toggles here in the USA.
At first it seemed simple. Place some springs on the mating surface with the toggles to hold it on. No way. It just wanted to pop off even more. Then I tried a compression fit, but that was no good because it only worked for 1 or 2 switches. hhhhh. Finally I thought about combining the two. And this the universal toggle adapter was born. Now for all of my toggle switches I will include this into the design so that NO MORE TAPE OR GLUE has to be used to hold the decoration onto the toggle.
When I had that figured out, separating the pieces for faster print was an absolute necessity. I tried compression fits here too. But alas, again the plague of adaptability came and put me in its place. Snap fits! Snap fits to the rescue. But wait, the space for one would cause a regular snap hook to break. So what to do? I thought about the compression idea again and then realized if I place a relief under the compression and made a corresponding relief on the mating face a tiny snap 2mm!! could be made. After all of that it was just like 20 test prints adjusting things and optimizing supports and the print profile.
I hope everyone enjoys this toggle cover. I put a lot of hard work into it and I think its my best model yet. I will soon be making interchangeable covers so that you can have any pokeball type or have a line up of all of them on a 4 switch wall plate or what have you.
If you made it this far, thank you so much for reading! Check out my models for all my other wall switches. I will make this my niche and I have a lot of upcoming models that I will be sharing.
Thanks again!

I just made a new #Light Switch Cover ! I was getting burnt out on #Minecraft , so I decided to switch to #Pokemon . It works on US rocker switches and Smart switches. I know how to make the toggle version too, and it will be a simple add on once I get the time.
Definitely check it out and let me know what your think in the poll.

I DID IT!!! Finally I was able to create a model that satisfied my requirements:
1. Must actuate rocker switch in on and off positions
2. Must hold position after actuation
3. Must be pretty
4. Must be easy to assemble and require no extra hardware
It's finally done and I must say using the glow filament is very cool. Can go from cobblestone by day to diamond ore by night! I hope you guys enjoy!

#Minecraft #light switch cover
I've had a lot of positive feedback on my light switch cover and just wanted to share some updates coming soon!
I am working on the triple version (toggle switch) and I have the model ready, but I am on a A1 mini :( so printing it will be a challenge.
As far as the rocker switch model, I am so close!!! I have attached some pictures of the completed cover, but I am still working on getting the functionality of the lever. I want it to switch up/down and hold its position. I have a retainer for this, but my arms keep breaking. I initially wanted them to flex and pop over the retainer, but now I realize that they just need to be stronger than the retainer.
Anyways, toggle switch (single gang) should be done and uploaded today. Ill post another link here for that when I complete it. I attached pictures of the broken lever for now just to show my struggle. This has taken me a few days now to figure out, but I think I have it fixed and just have to test it!
Wish me luck and check out the toggle switch models here:

Well... Hayward has struck again with a product that... doesn't hold up. At least now you can replace it without paying their 40$ charge! Enjoy

I once had this as a single model, but realized that many people would like to print these in pairs to speed up the process. I have further optimized the ironing so that the cover is very plane and almost looks injection molded. The fuzzy skin further hides the layers in the 3D print and in my opinion this is my best one yet! Hope you all enjoy!

I wanted a filter drawer for my occasional use of filters when doing astrophotography. The metal ones were just not really practical for my limited use so I made these. I tested them and they were great and so I thought hey... if someone else wanted this but had to save up or what have you, I might as well share it with fellow astronomers and astrophotographers.
So here it is! (Filter not included :))

I photographed this with a 350 mm telescope on a nikon d750. Lots of fun. I am an astrophotographer and love taking pictures of nebula, planets, comets, galaxies… pretty much anything space related. Check out my website www.rickymcdaniel.net if you want to see some of my pictures. This lithophane came out great and my kids love it! Its a wonderful nightlight.

I have never seen anyone do a ghast cube before.. now i know why haha! 9 hrs seems like a long time, but then I realized I could just print this while I slept. Using glow in the dark filaments is sooooo cool too. Enjoy!
