They’re not perfect but if you need to figure what ball bearings you need just print these and buy the one you now know you need from the store.

Please listen, so filament recyclers are rather expensive ($600-$2000) but what if, and pardon the crude drawings, you put the shredded filament in the nozzle and push it down with a rod, around 1.74 mm, to print.
Cant we use this technique on something like the seccond image to make filament? Obviously this will be difficult and needs baby sitting, will this work?
