We originally tried making a revolver-style NeoSander fidget spinner… but somehow ended up with a tiny sanding-head shuriken instead 🥷 Turns out 8 sanding heads arranged in a circle spin surprisingly well—especially when using the same head shape with different colors. Made for those moments when you’re stuck mid-project and need to spin something for 5 seconds before your brain starts working again 🌀

All sanding tools share a core limitation: when the sanding head reaches the area, the tool body blocks proper alignment, forcing work to stay at the edges instead of the full surface, especially on recessed or larger parts. This NeoSander angled set is designed to solve that. By introducing dual contact surfaces and flexible TPU, it enables top-down sanding with more adaptive contact in tight spaces. This is an open-source release for makers to remix, improve, and build on.

Although NeoSander hasn’t reached everyone yet, we’ve already seen some very specific (and sometimes extreme) requests from backers. That’s what sparked this set. These ultra-thin sanding heads are made for tight, awkward spots, trading off durability for reach. Not a replacement for standard heads—but a great fit for 3D printing, tweaking, and iterating. This is an open-source release for community-driven improvements. Feel free to remix, optimize, or build your own head shape on top of it.
