Description

I wanted light bulb covers/cages that better diffuse the light because it was disruptive in some parts of my house so I modeled some new ones. I'm not sure about lightbulb socket standard sizes but the bulbs at least are standard A19 light bulbs. The top of the cover has a cutout because apparently some LED bulbs are not rated to run fully enclosed so I wanted some way of letting the hot air vent. The way you install the cover is with the light bulb removed loosen the screws that hold a cover like this in place on a lighting fixture, place it in, and tighten the screws. Put the lightbulb back into the socket and then put the cover over the end.

I printed these in translucent PETG but it also works with white filament, though the color you'll get is different based on whatever color of white you use.
