Description

Needle recapper made to fit disposable needles used with reusable dental carpules. A needle need to be taken off of the carpule before it gets autoclaved, requiring the needle to be recapped prior to being unscrewed. The “scoop” recapping method, while tried and tested, is a little annoying when the needle cap rolls away from you. This holder holds the needle cap to facilitate easier recapping.

I also heard it'll be useful for mycological research and funghi growers, for implanation of mycelium into growth medium :)

Two print profiles are published:

  1. The first one uses more filament and prints the model solid.

  2. The second one uses 0% infill for the first 20mm, then pauses. After you resume the print, it prints 3 solid layers before continuing with 15% sparse infill for the rest of the print. This allows you to fill the base of the holder with something heavy, like lead fishing weights or steel balls (i.e. birdshot or small steel balls from bearings) - making the model heavier and adding stability.

I'm raising money for filament to be able to develop more functional prints for you. Every boost is appreciated. Thank you in advance :)
