Description

My wife got a few sets of Twinmarkers for Christmas. They came in a bag which was very messy, so I made her a holder.

Each holder holds 25 markers and is stackable.

Each hole is 16.5x16.5mm so I'm sure other brands will fit.

You can fit 4 holders on 1 plate (X/P series).

5x2 holder: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1086805#profileId-1079730

5x6 holder: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1087156#profileId-1080081

7x6 holder: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1086773#profileId-1079705

If you would like to print the ‘eco’ version which uses less filament you can print this one from @demon_lemon: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1417706-marker-holder-5x5-with-meshed-walls#profileId-1472522

Update 06/07/2025

On request of a user I made a lid for the 5x5 holder, you can find it here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1580208-marker-holder-lid#profileId-1662945

Hello, the print turned out splendid! Thank you so much… I had a small addition in mind, a wedge to incline the pen holder by 25 degrees! See image, if interested, I could upload it and link it to your pen holders! The print's surface finish isn't perfect, as it's my first self-designed model and I've only been a member of the 3D community for five days!

Hey Widdo! Sure man, upload the wedge and link it! If I got a spare boost it'll come right to you. Thanks for the feedback.

Great project. I made a small redesign to reduce amount of filament used. By converting most walls to cross pattern, single holder uses only 82g PLA (however print time is increased to 6h)

I'd love to, but this model's license doesn't allow publishing remixes. @Witse is there a chance that you reconsider the license terms? (or prepare similar remix by yourself)

I made it in tinkercad. someone on makerworld had one, modified the angle and put a name on the bottom

I originally had some adhesion problems with my black pla but I bumped up the temperature and cleaned the plate well. remembered it was the pla silk. The paint markers didn't fit but my alcohol markers did perfectly and i love how it came out. I have the same style markers as my sister except hers is a different brand. But looks the same, so I hope they fit hers.

Hi there, Sorry for your inconvenience. The bottom warp is probably due to bad bed adhesion or 'cold wind' during the printing, if you used my printprofile the AUX fan should be turned off. In the caption it says that the boxes are 16.5x16.5mm, if your markers are bigger, then this is indeed a bad design for you markers. I made this box for the markers I have.

thank you. I realized my black was silk and not regular black pla. think that was the problem. I bumped up my temperature to 230 which I had my temp at 240 for this silk rainbow and macaroon color prints. So far the black looks like it's printing very good. I up dated my rating and pictures.

I was just letting people know it may not fit because like. me, I'm printing for other people and can't really get people to get accurate measurements. Printing one can still take some time. So knowing which markers or paint pens that won't fit right off the bat is helpful.

I printed 2, no issues at all. the markers in different brands fit. However, there are holes at the bottom and a Gelly Roll pen will slide out. I would recommend this for alcohol markers and will be printing more. thank you!

Hey Tarrah! Thanks for the boost and support 🙏 I made the holes at the bottom to reduce filament and printing time. If you want I can make one which is closed at the bottom?
