Step up your desk setup with a piece that looks straight out of a research lab. The Lev Coil combines sharp industrial design with an organic double-helix spire that floats, balances, and spins completely untouched.
Engineering Meets Style
Zero Screws Needed: Built with tight, precision-engineered snap fits. no screws, —just print, assemble, and float.
Continuous Kinetic Motion: Designed aroundthe magnetic levitation kit to keep the top coil spinning infinitely without wires or friction slowing it down.
Dual-Tone Aesthetics: Contrast an industrial metallic base with glowing translucent upper coils and conductive LED Lights
Bringing It To Life
The Base: Print the lower module in metallic or silver PLA for an authentic mechanical hardware look.
The Coil: I went with translucent PETG clear and PLA translucent Green/Blue) so the leds travel directly up through the spiral geometry.
The Launch: Snap the parts together, balance the coil over your mag-lev base, give it a gentle spin, and let physics do the rest.

This model really pushed my ability to design. if you look at my other models, I'm good at straight line modeling and architecture, not curves :D
