      86-Type Switch Trim Product Description

This product is an external decorative kit designed for standard 86-type wall box switches. It features a snap-on, no-drilling installation, and can be directly clipped onto the outside of the original switch panel. There's no need to remove the original switch body, making installation and removal convenient.

The panel uses a modular replacement structure, allowing for free replacement to accommodate one-, two-, three-, or four-gang switches as needed. Panel styles are divided into two categories: smooth, unmarked type, and type with replaceable labels. For the labeled type, the central label can be chosen and customized freely. The buttons abandon the traditional switch button structure, adopting a mechanical keyboard keycap-style design. This offers strong versatility, allowing users to select their preferred keycaps from the community for replacement and modification, achieving a high degree of personalization.

Compatibility Notes and Areas for Optimization

The original switches in my home are touch-sensitive. This trim piece has compatibility issues when used with touch switches. I will specifically debug and optimize it later to resolve these usage drawbacks.

Disassembly Tips

The product's support structure is relatively tight, making disassembly slightly challenging. You can use an art knife blade to gently slide and pry along one side of the support and the original switch gap, gradually separating the buckles to complete the disassembly.
