Quail feeder
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a hanger-style feeder designed for quail. The model includes negative parts that can be removed if you would like to customise the design, for example by changing the number of hanging holes. No support structure is required, although I reduced the print speed slightly to minimise the chance of print failure. I have printed three units myself so far, and all printed successfully.I used PETG myself. There is a minor print issue around the overhanging arch of each feeding hole (along the direction of priniting), which may require a small amount of post-print trimming.
Plate 1 contains the feeder body, while Plate 2 contains the optional lid.
The feeder can be assembled using a short piece of filament inserted into the small side hole to secure the parts together (as show in one of the image). However, after several months of use, I noticed that the PETG may warp slightly, which can cause minor misalignment between the side piece and the main body. However, I was able to push it back into place easily. Using superglue to permanently secure the two pieces together should avoid this issue, so please consider use superglue to ensure proper adhesion.
Please note that, because the model contains negative parts, it should be downloaded and printed in .3mf format. If downloaded as an .stl file, the negative parts will be removed by the server.
