Description
Eggstraterrestrial Ovomorph Egglien Egg Cup
I simply didn't want a normal egg cup anymore
So this one was created: a Xenomorph-inspired design that can hold a breakfast egg
I printed the version shown with Seam Position: Random
This distributes seam lines less visibly, but the surface appears a bit less smooth
The two other pictures show a previous version where the base is defective
It is a variant with Seam Position: Aligned, where the seam is intentionally positioned and the overall result appears smoother, but at the cost of a seam
If anyone manages to achieve a smoother surface without a seam, please post
Print Tips:
- Fine layer height for clean details
- Printing a bit slower improves the surface
- For an optimal result, post-processing (e.g., sanding or painting) may be useful
