📏 Parameter Guide
- ShaftDia: The diameter of the smooth rod your bushing will ride on.
- BushingHeight: The overall length of the bushing.
- ToothCount / ToothHeight / ToothAngle / ToothTipWidth: These control the size, shape, and quantity of the internal bearing ridges.
- EnableCut: A binary switch! Enter 0 for a solid tube, or 1 to slice a slit down the side (makes it easy to snap over a shaft).
- TeethRemove: If EnableCut is set to 1, this controls how wide the slit is.
🧮 How to Set Your Outer Diameter (OD)
The overall thickness of the bushing is controlled by the OD_Multiplier.
If you need the bushing to fit into a specific hole (like exactly 22mm), just use this quick formula on your calculator:
Target Outer Diameter ÷ Shaft Diameter = Your OD_Multiplier
Example: You have a 12mm shaft, but the hole it needs to fit into is exactly 22mm.
- 22 ÷ 12 = 1.833
- Just type 1.833 into the OD_Multiplier box!
