Description
I use this in control cabinet construction to position wire end ferrules readily accessible in front of me on a free DIN rail in the control cabinet during upright assembly. This is the first attempt with a locking mechanism to prevent them from accidentally detaching during intense work. It is adapted for standard 35mm DIN rails. I chose PETG for printing to ensure the flexibility of the locking mechanism. Only manual supports are needed for the upper hook that attaches to the DIN rail. In automatic mode, supports are printed around the locking mechanism that are difficult to remove.
