Description
The Aquatic Titan: Blastoise of Frieza's Aquatic Vanguard
A Different Birth
While Charizard was a candidate for Saiyan infusion due to his fiery fighting spirit, Blastoise, known in the imperial archives as "War Turtle-7", was selected for very different reasons. Frieza's Empire needed not only aerial and terrestrial warriors but also amphibious and heavy demolition combat units capable of operating on oceanic or water-rich worlds.
This Blastoise, before its "modification", was the leader of a Blastoise clan on a jungle and aquatic planet, known for its immense resilience and the unparalleled power of its water cannons. Captured after a brutal battle in which it proved almost invincible even against Frieza's elite forces, it was taken to the same laboratory where Charizard was modified.
The Armor and Ki Cannons
Blastoise's armor, unlike Charizard's, is designed for resilience and firepower:
- Reinforced Adamantium Shell: Its main armor (the "golden semicircle" on the abdomen and shoulder pads) is forged with heavier and more resistant alloys than Charizard's, capable of withstanding direct low and medium power Ki impacts. The gold is not just aesthetic; it is a metal that distributes and dissipates kinetic energy, protecting it from critical blows.
- Integrated Ki Cannons: Blastoise's famous water cannons have been enhanced with Saiyan technology. Now they not only fire pressurized water but can also channel and unleash concentrated Ki blasts. These "Hydro-Ki Cannons" can pierce small spacecraft or demolish entire rock formations.
- Submarine Scouter: Its scouter, bright green, is designed to function underwater and in low visibility conditions, detecting Ki signatures even in abyssal depths.
- Emergency Hydro-Thrusters: Hidden in its shell and legs, it has small thrusters that allow it to move at high speed underwater, and even propel itself on land for explosive leaps.
Rank and Role: The Guardian of the Depths
Blastoise, now known as "Guardian Kaji" (an approximate translation of "Water Cannon" in a galactic dialect), is not a squad leader like Charizard. He is a heavy demolition unit and a defensive wall, a battering ram in aquatic assaults, and an impregnable fortress on the battlefield.
- Amphibious Demolition: He is sent to planets with vast oceans or coastal fortifications, where his ability to operate both on land and in water makes him invaluable. He can destroy underwater barriers, submerged bases, and clear coastlines with his cannons.
- Immovable Defender: In defensive situations, Kaji can anchor himself to the terrain and unleash a constant barrage of Ki attacks and Hydro-Bombs, acting as a living siege tower.
- Supreme Resilience: His turtle biology and combined armor make him incredibly difficult to take down. He can withstand explosions that would incapacitate other warriors.
- Attack Fusion: He can charge his cannons with a mixture of water and Ki to create a "Hydro-Ki Burst", an attack that combines water pressure with the explosive energy of Ki, leaving little in its wake.
Kaji's Loyalty
Unlike Charizard, whose loyalty could be volatile due to his fiery nature, Kaji is methodical and tenacious. His loyalty to Frieza's Empire is based on a combination of programming and the pragmatic understanding that he is part of an unstoppable machine. However, his original territorial instinct remains strong. What would happen if Frieza's Empire threatened the aquatic ecosystems Kaji once protected? Could that unwavering loyalty be broken by a deeper instinct, that of a guardian of nature?
This Blastoise is a force of nature, a walking tank and a living cannon, a testament to the brutal ingenuity of Frieza's Empire.
