Eco-Designed A6 Notepad (A4 Upcycling)

This A6 notepad holder is designed to optimize the use of your already printed A4 sheets. By cutting them into four, you give a second life to your paper for your shopping lists or daily notes.

Design and Materials

The project relies on an assembly of two distinct parts, each optimized by the choice of a specific filament:

• The Holder (Block) : Printed in PLA. PLA offers excellent rigidity and ease of printing for the structural base of the notepad holder.
• The Clip : Printed in PETG. This choice is crucial to benefit from the flexibility and shape memory of PETG, allowing constant pressure on the sheets without breaking the clip.

Assembly

Assembly is done via a sliding system:

1. Take the holder and the clip after printing.
2. Slide the clip into the notch provided for this purpose.
3. Note : The fit is tight by design to ensure the long-term solidity of the assembly. Slight force is required during insertion.

Possible Evolutions

The current design is minimalist and functional. A future version could integrate slots for neodymium magnets on the back of the holder, allowing the notepad to be attached to a refrigerator or any metal surface.
