Hi,

I would like to present my Modular Plant Support Frame design.

I had been looking for this type of frame for some time, but most of them were too small or had very low structural strength.

I decided to design my own frame that would work well with large and heavy plants as well as smaller ones, and even in gardens.

I had three goals in mind when designing it: modularity, flexibility, and durability.

The result is the design presented here.

The frame can be divided into two elements:
1. Pillars that support the entire structure—as you can see in the photo, the pillar has double cylindrical teeth that we drive into the ground.
The pillar itself is square to increase its bending strength.
These pillars are connected with connectors to the element on which we will place our frame.

2. Frame—consists of cylindrical elements (to protect plant stems) that are placed on pillars using prepared holes.
The frame elements can be spaced between pillars or connected with bolts to reduce pillar density.

The pillars themselves can be extended further (the design also includes extension elements) and the structure can be used, for example, to hang tomatoes.

Technical data:
Filament used: PETG - provides greater strength and moisture resistance. PLA can also be used successfully.

Printing parameters:
Wall loops: 5 - increasing the print strengthens the structure.
Brim: I used a 5 mm brim for all elements. I used it mainly to avoid deformation and possible errors. You can omit the brim, but there is a risk of deformation.

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to write to me.
