Modern Power socket

This project combines the upcycling of an old socket insert with a new custom-designed 3D-printed body. The old module has been reinstalled into a modern enclosure. The model includes mounting pillars for screws and a cable entry channel. The dimensions are designed for the standard European mains system (230 V AC); the actual current rating is determined by the original insert, so make sure to verify it before use. This project is a great example of how to give old electrical components a second life while learning the basics of safe design.
