Description
I've recently taken up fishing, but removing floats from tight silicone float seats when packing up my rod has been a struggle, sometimes causing sore fingernails. So, I designed a float removal tool to simplify this process. Instructions are shown in Figure 4: Hold the float with one hand (position 1 in Figure 5), and with your other hand, use the tool to grip the rod and gently push it toward the silicone float seat to remove the float easily and effortlessly.
