Description

Paper Background Stand
This simple yet effective set of round, angled stands transforms any sheet of paper into a seamless studio backdrop for product photography. Whether you’re shooting small objects for e-commerce, crafts, or documentation, this system helps you create professional-looking packshots using materials you already have on hand.
The two stands are designed to gently curve standard paper (A4 up to A1 or even A0) into a smooth, corner-free background. The result is a clean, shadow-free transition between the vertical and horizontal planes, similar to what you’d get with a professional lightbox.
Features
- Minimal Design: Two symmetrical parts that hold any flexible sheet in a curved position.
- Paper Friendly: Works with standard paper sizes, from A4 to A0. Larger sizes may require a supporting wall and tape to prevent the sheet from toppling forward.
- Modular and Scalable: Add clips, weights, or a wall behind the sheet to adapt the setup as needed.
- Print-Ready: No supports, no assembly. Just print the pair and you’re ready to shoot.
- Stabilization Options: Each stand has a perpendicular hole in the base that allows you to pass a broomstick or rod through both stands to improve alignment and symmetry. The widened feet can also accommodate weights, though the setup works fine without them.
- Multi-Purpose: Perfect for quick setups, small studio spaces, or mobile use.
Printing Instructions
- Compatible with any printer or extruder size. The model fits within the build volume of a Bambu Lab A1 Mini.
- With the standard 0.4 mm nozzle, use your favorite profile and set it to 6 wall loops.
- No supports required.
- No assembly needed.

Avoid printing with colored filament.
Stick to neutral tones like gray or black. Colored plastics will reflect their color onto your subject, contaminating the scene with color casts. Neutral colors ensure the cleanest photographic results.
Usage Tips
- For larger paper sizes (A2 and up), lean the sheet against a wall for extra support.
- Optionally, insert a stick or pole through the stands to improve symmetry and prevent shifting.
- Weights can be placed on the widened foot extensions if stability is needed in unpredictable environments.
- Use strong diffused sunlight or studio strobe lighting. Shooting at ƒ16 to ƒ22 using a tripod is recommended for sharp, professional results.
