Reverse Planetary Roller Screw
Print Profile(1)

Description
A reverse planetary roller screw with dimensions similar to a real planetary roller screw, capable of achieving operational effects.
Roller end gear module m=0.5, roller tooth number z1=18, push rod tooth number z2=54, nut without gear, inner diameter is the same as the inner meshing gear tooth top circle, calculated tooth number z3=72
The roller is a single-start trapezoidal thread with a right-hand thread (because the model is for principle verification, the thread cross-section is not standard size), lead=2; The push rod is a three-start trapezoidal thread with a left-hand thread, lead=6; The nut is a four-start trapezoidal thread with a right-hand thread, lead=8
To ensure that the printed thread can be smoothly screwed in, a 0.5mm gap is designed on one side, but this also leads to the gear meshing effect is not ideal
The thread line number ratio and lead ratio should be consistent with the tooth number ratio; parts that do not move axially relative to each other have opposite contact thread directions. Based on this principle, you can design your own formal/reverse planetary roller screws
Installation requires the purchase of a certain amount of Φ3*10 pins, you can also use printed parts as a substitute
Original files are provided synchronously, designed with solidworks2023-sp5
