Multipurpose Thread Protector & Holder

This adaptor is designed to securely hold threaded bolts / rods / fasteners that need to be cut, drilled or modified in any way really! 

Will fit into any sort of vice & the fully 3D printed tapped holes ensure that the bolt thread remains firmly held in place & fully protected during your modifications. 

What's more, is the use of two flexures. These hold the two halves of the holder together, and crucially, allow just a small amount of deflection…. which serves to improve transmission of clamping forces (from the vice onto the thread / bolt). In other words it ain't budging!!!

Size markings are built into the top faces for easy reference. 

All items print with zero support.

Chose either (or both) print profiles for M2-M6 and M6-M12 threaded fasteners. 

Choose ‘Two colour’ print profile for smooth handle faces complete with flush Text in contrasting colour….

or Choose ‘One colour’ print profile for all items on a single build plate & with recessed Text.  

Will fit any BambuLab printer including the A1 Mini… enjoy :)

First Use: It is my recommendation to run a bolt through the threads to knock off any printing defects that may be present. Then when its time to start cutting, simply screw you fixing into the appropriate holder size, drop into you vice being sure to seat the top lip of the holder on the top face of the vice jaws, tighten, and your ready to go!
